# Selling

> Sell INFERENCE for USDC on its Uniswap pool, or list it on the order book where one is deployed.

Open [Sell](https://deference.si/overview?action=sell) on Home to list INFERENCE on the order book for USDC on Ethereum mainnet and other networks where the book is deployed. On networks without an order book, Sell shows **Sell on Uniswap**: it opens INFERENCE's Uniswap pool, where you swap INFERENCE for USDC at the pool's price.

**View book** in Home's **Order book** summary opens Sell. Select a **Listing price** row to set the price.

## Place a listing

1. Pick a price with the **At** stepper. **One level lower** and **One level higher** move one level through the eleven prices from 0.50 to 1.00 USDC. Selecting a **Listing price** row sets the price too.
2. Enter an amount, or select 25%, 50%, 75%, or Max.
3. For a 10 INFERENCE listing at 0.95 USDC, select **List 10 INFERENCE at 0.95** and confirm in your wallet. If the wallet has not approved INFERENCE for the book, the review shows **Approve INFERENCE, then list it**. The wallet asks for the approval first. The button stays **List 10 INFERENCE at 0.95**.

The ticket shows **If fully filled**, **Ahead of you** (the INFERENCE listed at a lower price or earlier at the same price) and **Seller fee**. Above the lowest ask, it notes that lower prices fill first. Progress appears under the button, and a toast confirms the listing, such as "Listed 120 INFERENCE at 0.70 USDC".

Without INFERENCE in your wallet, the ticket links to **Buy INFERENCE**.

Amounts can include six decimal places. The book holds the listed INFERENCE until it fills or you cancel. Listings have no expiry.

Lower prices fill first. At the same price, older listings fill first. A partial fill keeps its place in the queue.

Listings fill at the lowest price first, then by time at that price. Partial fills keep their place. Unfilled INFERENCE stays in escrow until filled or cancelled; filled USDC is claimable.

## Cancel unfilled tokens

Under **Your listings** on Home, in **Open**, select **Cancel** beside the listing and confirm in your wallet. Its unfilled INFERENCE goes back to your wallet.

Cancellation leaves earlier fills intact. The USDC from those fills stays available to claim.

## Claim proceeds

Under **Proceeds**, select **Claim USDC** and confirm in your wallet. The settled USDC arrives in your wallet.

Buyer fees do not reduce seller proceeds. Your wallet pays the network cost for placement, cancellation, and claims. See [Order book](https://deference.si/docs/concepts/order-book) for matching and fees.

Listings from an older book appear in the same list. Their unfilled tokens and proceeds remain available through the same cancel and claim actions.

## Sell before activation

Credit and free credit cannot be sold, sent, or withdrawn. Activation burns INFERENCE, so keep tokens in your wallet if you plan to sell them.
